Jared Isaacman has been appointed administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)according the advertisement by the president-elect of the United States, Donald Trump, on December 4.
If his appointment is confirmed, Isaacman would succeed Bill Nelson, a seasoned Democrat from Florida, and become the 15th person to lead NASA.
isaacman is closely linked to Elon Muskthe CEO of SpaceX. He played a key role in the Inspiration4 mission in 2021, a historic private spaceflight using SpaceX’s Crew Dragon Resilience spacecraft.

After Trump’s announcement, Isaacman published in Xsaying: “I am honored to receive President Trump’s nomination to serve as the next administrator of NASA. Having been fortunate enough to see our amazing planet from space, I am passionate about America leading the most incredible adventure in the history of humanity.”
