Zklend has lost more than $ 9 million in Ethereum in a hack. The protocol requires that the hacker return 90% of the funds stolen or in front of legal consequences.
On February 12, the Money Based Starknet -based Starknet Zklend protocol officially admitted that it had been pirated. The protocol said that his internal team is currently investigating the root cause of the exploit. Meanwhile, all withdrawals in the protocol have stopped until further notice. The trick resulted in a loss of more than $ 9 million in Ethereum (ETH).
In a recent publication aimed at hacker, whose identity is still unknown, Zklend declared that he will allow hacker to maintain 10% of stolen funds as a “Whitehat reward.” However, the protocol asked the Hacker to return 90% of the stolen funds, which is equal to 3,300 ETH or $ 8.6 million according to current market prices.

Once 90% of the funds have been returned, the Starknet -based protocol (Strk) agreed to free the hacker from all charges with respect to the attack. If the hacker does not respond before the deadline, the protocol said it will take legal measures to “track and process” the author.
In a separate publication, the protocol said it was actively tracking the funds and working to identify the hacker collaborating with other entities, including the Starknet Foundation, Starkware, Zero Shadow, Binance Security Team and Hypernative Labs.
