About the seminar
The event, which aimed to equip journalists with the knowledge necessary to report precisely and responsible in an evolving digital environment, while improving their understanding of digital communication, online security and the foundations of cryptocurrencies, industry experts and law officials that discuss critical issues.
The Coinex Ph Country manager, Dell Oscasas, addressed the common wrong concepts of cryptography in his talk, “erroneous concepts about cryptography and good news about cryptography”, focusing on the need for greater cryptographic literacy in the current digital landscape.
Meanwhile, the veteran journalist and member of the National Club of Press of Philippine, Felix Tuongco, discussed how false news affects the credibility of the media in his talk, “false news and their impact on the integrity of the media.”

In addition, the representatives of the Office of Cyber āāCrimes of the National Police of the Philippines, PSSG Cherry Pie Azarcon and PMSG Rufa Lachica de Cyercrime Racu4-A, provided information on the threats of cybercrime and preventive measures.
