Worldcoin’s activity begins in Metro Manila
After weeks of activity in Bulacan, Worldcoin launched its iris scan verification activity in Metro Manila as part of its pilot deployment of the orb device. Orb devices were recently available in the city of San Juan, specifically in the Greenhill Shopping Center, where they operated until April 10, 2025.
The ORB is an open source tool that scan users’ iris to confirm that they are unique human without revealing personal information. After a successful verification, users receive a global identification, a decentralized digital identity that can be used on all platforms to demonstrate their singularity.

The Ambassador of the referee officially launched in the Philippines and in Gran China. Applications are now open for people interested in promoting the ecosystem through content creation and community events.
According to the announcement, as an ambassador of the referee, participants can expect to collaborate with the main protocols, obtain practical experience in scale solutions of layer 2 and grow their professional network.
The roles include content creators that produce tutorials and social media content, and community builders that organize online and off -line events.

On April 11, 2025, College of Advanced Studies of Asia Pacific in Balanga, Bataan housed The ITHink code camp, a day workshop focused on blockchain using the Internet computer protocol (ICP). The event aimed to help participants to understand the unique characteristics of ICP, configure their local development environments and create decentralized applications (DAPP) with TypeScript and Node.JS.
