People trying to access ChatGPT I got error messages like “ChatGPT is currently not available”while OpenAI assured everyone that they were working on it.
In a post shared on December 12 via X, OpenAI recognized the problemstating: “We are experiencing an outage right now. We have identified the issue and are working to implement a fix.”
Prior to the announcement, ChatGPT services had resumed in some regions. However, the company did not explicitly confirm whether the outage was related to the Siri integration.
OpenAI services, including ChatGPT and Sora, operated normally as of 3:53 am UTC on December 12. Although the problem was solved in a matter of hours, became ChatGPT’s fourth major outage, after similar incidents that occurred in June and August.
