🍍 Taste of the market today
The cryptocurrency market feels like flipping a coin and it falls over the edge. weird but somehow appropriate 🙃
The fear and greed index dropped slightly to 74 (but hey, we’re still in greed), while bitcoin fell below $96 thousand. Blame it on the Fed’s latest tea: Only two rate cuts are expected in 2025.
BTC ETFs Had $671.9 million in departures yesterday – its first red day this month.
The 50-hourly SMA fell below the 200-hourly SMAforming what is called a bearish crossover. This usually means that short-term momentum has slowed enough to drag prices down further.
That being said, here’s the kicker: during Bitcoin’s recent bull run, these crossovers have been everything barks and does not bite – instead of collapsing, BTC has recovered even stronger. Will this time be different? 👀
For all of you glass half full a little people, feeling says that discussions about buying the dip have reached their highest level in eight months. The last time the crowd got this anxious, we saw a massive rush afterwards.
Outside our digital bubble, GDP grew at an annualized rate of 3.1% in the third quartershowing economic strength despite inflationary fears. And a healthy economy = investor confidence, which often extends to riskier assets like cryptocurrencies.
So yeah, whether it lands heads, tails, or stays on the edge… The market can get unpredictable, but that’s what makes it so exciting. 🪙
