ā€œOur teachers invited us to try this as our thesis for the next school year. So, I decided to join here po kasi interesting po ang topic, which is about web3, kasi na-intrigue po ako about what is web3. As an IT student, I love the scope of learning.ā€

[ā€œWe were invited by our professors to try this event so we could include it in our thesis subject next school year. I decided to join here because I found web3 interesting—I am intrigued by what it is all about. As an IT student, I want to expand my scope of learning.ā€]

  • But what the Villena teachers told them was not simply to learn, but to have fun learning:

ā€œKasi po iyong quest po na ibinigay sa amin is having a fun learning experience at each booth, learning about your ideas or what your project is about.ā€

[ā€œThe task that was given to us by our professors was to have a fun learning experience at each booth, to learn about their ideas or what their project is all about.ā€]

  • Luckily, they did not attend out of pressure and following what their teachers want, but because these students found the event interesting and attractive:

ā€œIt’s a new experience for me, like a completely new world, accessing web3. Kasi kapag iisipin mo, it’s the future din eh, kasi you can see the other games moving forward using cryptocurrencies to enjoy the game more and immerse yourself in its product.ā€

[ā€œIt is a new experience for me, like a brand new world, to tap into web3. If you think about it, it is the future because you can see ā€Œgames utilizing cryptocurrencies to attract players to enjoy.ā€]

  • Meanwhile, when expressing how they view cryptocurrencies, Villena told BitPinas:

“Cryptocurrencies are actually the future of currencies, but as we move forward in the world of technology, we must adopt them and we must also learn them in ourselves and also web3, for inspired game developers and cryptocurrency enthusiasts “.

[ā€œCryptocurrencies are the future of currencies. As we progress in the world of technology, we should embrace it in ourselves, and also web3, especially for those inspired game developers and cryptocurrency enthusiasts.ā€]

  • Villena also showed his interest in further expanding his knowledge of web3 technology even after the event:

“I’m looking to learn more pa po, kasi, I’m starting with po and siguro. I’m going to do more research on this and also integrate it soon and implement it in sa mga namin projects soon.”

[I am looking for more learning about it because I am just starting in this industry. I am also going to research more about it and would also integrate and implement it soon in our projects.ā€]
