šŸ Taste of the market today

The market feels like walking into a room where everyone looks at you with a strange smile. Is something exciting about to happen? Is there spinach in my teeth? What is happening?? 🤨Investors are cooling off a bit: the fear and greed index fell to 74 as bitcoin Yesterday it took a step back to $95,000.

Trader bias believe Buyers are hesitant to rush until BTC proves to be above the $97.7K – $98K range. Basically, confidence isn’t exactly overflowing right now.

That being said, Daan Crypto Trades predict bitcoin could advance between 30% and 50% once you get out of this consolidation phase. If history repeats itself, we could see a larger increase as early as the first quarter.

Meanwhile, Institutions are making the most of the decline.. BTC spot ETFs recorded $438.5 million in inflows yesterday, and ETH ETFs followed with $305.7 million.

Altcoins though? It’s not like that sun and rainbow. Felix Hartmann says they probably will downward or sideways trend until January 2025. Sure, some might catch a second wind here or there, but the great runs seem to be over for now.

So yeah, that market smile is throwing us off a little. The good news? You are here with us and we will continue to make sense of all this together 🄰

🤠 The Good, the Bad and Bitcoin

You know those movies where the plot is so good that you get completely invested and then realize “it was all just a dream”? 😐 Ah, I love it, thank you so much for wasting my precious time!

Yesterday felt like the crypto version of that. For a whole month we hoped that Microsoft could end up jumping on the Bitcoin reserve train.

And the story looked good. – The National Center for Public Policy Research made some good arguments to convince them, Michael Saylor also made a cameo.

Well, the day of the shareholder vote arrived. Your verdict? No 🫶 Apparently, they already have solid financial strategies to protect the interests of shareholders. Translation: they can’t stand this heat.

Well, if you win some, you lose some. Take care!

…

Jk, we’re not going to give you a disappointing ending here. Bitcoin still has a lot of potential elsewhere, and we’re here to analyze it.

1/ Corporate BTC MVPs

  • Microstrategy – the absolute king, with 423,650 BTC worth almost $41.5 billion, more than 2% of the total supply.
  • MARA Holdings spent $1.1 billion on nearly 11,800 BTC yesterday, bringing its total holdings to 40,435 BTC.
  • Rumble plans to allocate up to $20 million of its excess cash reserves into Bitcoin.

2/ BTC ambitions at the state level

  • Pennsylvania: Rep. Mike Cabell is pushing for 10% of the state treasury to go into Bitcoin as a hedge against inflation.
  • Texas: Lawmakers, with the help of the Satoshi Action Fund, are putting together a plan for a state Bitcoin reserve.
  • Florida targeting the first quarter of 2025 to start its BTC reserve

3/ BTC in Mr. Worldwide mode

  • USA– Wants the Treasury and Federal Reserve to buy up to 1 million BTC over five years.
  • Russia thinking about a BTC reserve to face sanctions.
  • Porcelain: Former Binance CEO CZ says it is inevitable that China will join the BTC reserve pool, potentially following the United States’ lead.
  • Brazil: An $18.6 billion proposal to allocate 5% of its total international reserves to Bitcoin.
evil doctor "like, like"

So, yes, maybe Microsoft isn’t feeling the Bitcoin vibes yet, but the big picture is clear: BTC is in big conversations. And the more players join the gang, the stronger the FOMO becomes.

TL;DR: BTC is getting into it main character energy for which he was born – and the world is starting to notice.
