Cryptographic analyst Michaël Van de Poppe said there is a great possibility that Bitcoin will reach a new historical maximum in the coming weeks.
In a recent publication about X, Michaël Van de Poppe celebrated Bitcoin’s increase to $ 105,000 on January 30. According to Coingcko, Bitcoin (BTC) opened to $ 103,719 on this day and is now quoted at $ 105,137. Expressing optimism, Van de Poppe suggested that a new maximum of all time could be on the horizon in the coming weeks.
This followed its previous x publication where he pointed out that Bitcoin had reached $ 104K after the FOMC meeting and projected that if it broke over $ 105K, a new ATT in February would be likely. The FOMC meeting, which was held on January 29, concluded with the decision to maintain the federal funds rate within the target range of 4.25% to 4.50%. This decision follows three consecutive rate cuts in the last part of 2024.
Bitcoin’s increase beyond $ 105K erased the losses of deep immersion and revived the upward feeling among analysts. Michaël Van de Poppe is not the only one who expressed his optimism. Pentoshi also pointed out Bitcoin’s resistance to the broader weakness of the market. Sharing his thoughts with his 749,200 followers in X, he pointed out that BTC remains above the medium of its current range, which has now become support. Given this resistance, you see no reason why you don’t expect new maximums soon.
The ATH of Bitcoin is currently $ 108,786, a record established on January 20.
