🍍 Taste of the market today
If cryptocurrencies had a journal, today’s entry would be like, “Dear diary, I’m still trying to figure myself out. I hope tomorrow is the day.” 📓
after going to the extremes of greed Yesterday, the Fear and Greed Index took a step back and settled solely on Greed. Meanwhile, Bitcoin It has been going downhill steadily until reaching $102,000.
Krillin Trader expect BTC to stay between $100,000 and $110,000 until the Fed’s FOMC meeting at the end of this month.
That’s when the Federal Reserve announces whether they will increase interest rates, which affects the entire economy, including cryptocurrencies:
-
If rates rise, borrowing money costs more, so fewer people feel like risking it in cryptocurrencies;
-
A higher interest rate can strengthen the dollar. When the dollar looks good, some see less need for an alternative store of value like Bitcoin.
Right now, CME FedWatch says the market expects the Fed to simply keep things as they are. but hey, anything can happen.
And if you’re feeling a little nervous about all of this, here’s some hope from Larry Fink, CEO of BlackRock: he believes Bitcoin could reach $700,000.
Because? Due to fears of currencies losing value and unstable economic or political situations.
Fink explained that if large asset managers allocated even a small portion – like 2% to 5% – of their funds to Bitcoin, prices could skyrocket.
Then there is Dogecoinwhich has been falling like Bitcoin today but still gives us reasons to be optimistic:
-
Its logo appeared on the DOGE agency’s official government website;
-
Dogecoin whales have been increasingly active, which is often seen as a bullish sign;
-
A DOGE ETF filing is rumored to be in the works, possibly coming to market as early as early April.
Honestly, if cryptocurrencies continue to register, we may have to intervene. Self-reflection is great, but come on, we need action! 😡

Things look pretty… ohcomplicated in the Ethereum forehead.
The good Ethereum has been delayed for quite some time – its price increased by 45% this year, while Bitcoin and Solana increased by 161% and 200%, respectively.
It’s really a meme at this point.
In fact, while is Kinda funny, many also see it as a major red flag. Analyst Ignas broke it down:
-
Fewer validators want to do the hard work (because why bother if the rewards are less?)
-
DeFi applications that use ETH as collateral face higher liquidation risks;
-
Developers could start looking at other blockchains if they see Ethereum as a I investment;
-
Many DAOs hold ETH, so if its price drops, your budget shrinks.
This frustration 👆 is making people take a look to the Ethereum Foundation (EF) – the organization in charge of supporting the development, research and growth of Ethereum.
|
Good, Vitalik Buterinco-founder of Ethereum, decided to respond to all the drama and remind everyone that the EF’s leadership structure is being revamped. And you have specific goals in mind:
-
Improve technical expertise at the top;
-
Improve communication with the entire ecosystem;
-
Bring in new talent;
-
Support app creators more;
-
Make more use of decentralization and privacy technology, including for EF payments and treasury.
Then he hit us with a list of things that I won’t do it:
-
“Execute some kind of ideological/vibez shift from feminized soyboy mentality to bronze age mentality” (yes this is legit what he said);
-
Listen to regulators and politicians;
-
Become a super centralized organization.
But this announcement did not completely convince the community. Instead, it triggered a wave of more complaints about EFas:
-
They have been slow to address issues such as transaction speed and Ethereum’s appeal to developers;
-
Nobody knows how EF really works;
-
They are too cautious;
-
EF employees don’t even use Ethereum regularly;
-
They have been selling ETH to pay salaries, which upset people;
-
Etc, etc, etc.
But the icing on the cake: people want leadership changes. To be more specific, They want Aya Miyaguchi (CEO of EF) out and Danny Ryan (an Ethereum developer) in.
And this one had Vitalik. motivated:
This post made some members of the ETH community even more unhappy and prompted some ETH Maxis, such as Eric Conner, to walk away.
he said“I have lost my passion for Ethereum because EF would rather protect feelings than listen to a community demanding change.” Curse. Alexa, play sad violin music. 😔
But! It’s not just chopping onions, dogs waiting for their owners, elderly people eating alone, a stuffed animal that some child forgot in a park, a birthday party where no guests attended vibes here. Some think that this could be the push Ethereum needed to go up:
So… is this the time to start the training montage with eye of the tiger playing in the background? We’ll see.

🌪 Tornado Cash received a legal defeat. A US court overturned sanctions imposed against it after the platform allegedly helped North Korean hackers launder money.
💰 North Dakota lawmakers are considering a bill that would limit ATM cryptocurrency withdrawals to $1,000 per day. They say it is necessary because these ATMs are not as secure as traditional ones.
🙅♀️ ARK Invest’s Cathie Wood says she won’t invest in the TRUMP memecoin. Your plan? Stick to the big three: Bitcoin, Ether and Solana.
